How Not Another Job Site works
Can I upload my CV instead of copying and pasting it?
Yes. You can upload a Word (.docx) or PDF CV. The text is extracted in your browser and placed into the CV workspace, where you can review or edit it before using any AI features.
How does the AI job matching work?
The service reads the experience, skills and evidence in your CV, identifies plausible types of work and searches live UK vacancy data. The resulting jobs are then ranked for relevance to your CV. A match is guidance, not a guarantee that you meet every requirement.
Will the AI invent experience to make my CV fit?
It is specifically instructed not to invent qualifications, duties, achievements or experience. You should still read every generated CV or covering letter carefully before using it.
Does the site apply for jobs or email employers for me?
No. The candidate version creates material you can copy and use yourself. You remain in control of what is submitted to an employer and should verify employer contact details before making contact.
What happens to my CV?
The original Word or PDF file is read locally in your browser to extract text. When you choose an AI feature, the relevant text is sent securely through the service to Google Gemini for processing. Working CV data is kept in browser session storage while you use the site. If you deliberately choose Save current CV, that CV text is encrypted and stored in your personal CV Bank so you can return to it later.
